Chapter 29
This chapter is about ministering beyond your comfort zone. The author starts off the chapter by talking about how God called him not only to lead his people in worship but also to disciple others into a worship leading role. He talks about how if we only stay where we are comfortable we will never grow. Jesus told us to go out and make disciples not just stay where we are comfortable.
I like this chapter because it is so important to try and branch out from your comfort zone. As Christians God will call us to to go do things that we might not feel completely comfortable with. We just need to trust in Him and do things that will help us grow as Christ followers and people.

Chapter 28
This chapter is about understanding the dynamics of the worship service. This is the only chapter of the book that is devoted to he actual worship service. Each worship will only be as successful as the foundations you have laid for it. It is so important for us to be prepared to worship musically.
I like this chapter because it is very different from the previous chapter. Instead of discussing the spiritual aspect of worship it talks about how to have strong worship. It is very important for all of us to remember that our worship set , "will only be as successful as the foundations you have laid for it".

Chapter 27
This chapter is about being mentally, musically, and physically prepared to lead worship. The last chapter talked about preparing your heart this chapter adds on to that. Being musically prepared is important because of the music does not sound good it is distracting to is who are trying to worship. This chapter also discusses how the Bible talks about planning. God had a plan for salvation before time began.
I like this chapter because it is right that it is important to prepare for worship. It is great when spontaneous things happen but it is good to have a plan so that the music is organized and sounds good. As worship leaders it is important that we use our time wisely to make a plan for a great worship.

Chapter 26
This chapter is about being spiritually prepared to lead. It talks about how we need to be fully devoted to God during worship and spiritually prepare before we lead worship. We alone are not worthy of God but, but by His blood God made us worthy.
I loved in this chapter when the author said, "Some people say that praise is the door to the presence of the Lord." That is very true because when we praise God whether it is through worship or not we feel His presence and a sense of peace because we know He is present. By preparing our hearts before leading worship we can help lead others.

Chapter 15
This Chapter is about exercising diplomacy. The author discusses different scenarios of conflict between people in the church. There are arguments and many different opinions. Some people are even mean to some of their fellow church leaders. Many of the people do not like confrontation. This chapter talks about how we should not run from problems but strive to work them out.
I like this chapter because it talks about what to do when things are going wrong and when you argue with people. As a worship team their will be times when we do not agree on something and argue. It is important to talk through our problems and try to find a solution rather than run away from them.

Chapter 13
This chapter is about keeping our priorities straight. The author talks about how God has shown him the three main priorities in his life, Knowing God, loving, and laboring the ministry. He wants to model his priorities both for his family and those involved in his worship ministry. He encourages us to implement biblical priorities in our lives and ministry.
I liked this chapter because he guides us through having Christ centered priorities. I liked how he said that God is first in his life and his family is second because I feel like that is how all Christians should view their priorities. God is the most important thing in our lives and we should always strive to live for Him. It is also a huge priority to love and be with your family because God values family and wants us to treat them well. It is very important as worship leaders to keep our priorities straight and demonstrate to others how to always keep God first.

Chapter 12
This chapter is about cultivating the gifts God has given us. God gives us many gifts such as nurturing and healing. While we cultivate these gifts it is important to pray. It is also important to work diligently in order to cultivate these skills. As worship leaders we need to cultivate our gifts.
I liked this chapter because it is so important that we build the gifts God has given us. God has blessed us with so much and it is important that we do not take them for granted. God does not want us to hide our talents he wants us to use them to glorify Him.
