Chapter 29

This chapter is about ministering beyond your comfort zone. The author starts off the chapter by talking about how God called him not only to lead his people in worship but also to disciple others into a worship leading role. He talks about how if we only stay where we are comfortable we will never grow. Jesus told us to go out and make disciples not just stay where we are comfortable. I like this chapter because it is so important to try and branch out from your comfort zone. As Christians God will call us to to go do things that we might not feel completely comfortable with. We just need to trust in Him and do things that will help us grow as Christ followers and people.

Chapter 28

This chapter is about understanding the dynamics of the worship service. This is the only chapter of the book that is devoted to he actual worship service. Each worship will only be as successful as the foundations you have laid for it. It is so important for us to be prepared to worship musically. I like this chapter because it is very different from the previous chapter. Instead of discussing the spiritual aspect of worship it talks about how to have strong worship. It is very important for all of us to remember that our worship set , "will only be as successful as the foundations you have laid for it".
