Chapter 10: Self-Discipline
This chapter is about self-discipline and how it is essential when you are a worship leader. We must be willing to discipline ourselves in many areas, including prayer, the study of God's word, musical practice time, and preparation. The author says that discipline is the most difficult aspect of being a worship leader because you are tempted to procrastinate. God will multiply our efforts at self-discipline even beyond expectations, He will pour out His blessings.
I like this chapter because I think it is very relevant. As High Schoolers I think we get lazy and procrastinate a lot and sometimes that can effect our worship. It's really important that we remember to be diligent and discipline ourselves in order to prepare worship to the best of our abilities.

ReplyDeleteI really liked what you said about not procrastinating because it's definitely easy to do that as as a high schooler but we need to be disciplined.
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's important to stay disciplined and not procrastinate, no matter how tempting it is. Good job! :)
